A year ago, I started this painting thinking I'd finish it in a month.
A month turned into a year.

There were days of tired eyes, back pain, and moments when I didn't feel like picking up a brush. But every time I looked at this unfinished canvas, I knew I couldn't leave it behind.

This painting tested my patience more than my skills.

And today, I'm not proud because it's perfect.
