This is a very gorgeous candle holder! This piece will look AMAZING on a mantle, entry way, coffee table, sofa table or even a shelf! The top does come off. There is some wear on the metal but nothing too serious. It adds character and makes it look a little older. You can see the wear in the pictures. The base of the candle holder does have a few chips but again, nothing serious and not too noticeable. Italian stamp at the bottom.
