This saree is a true heirloom piece. Woven specially for Lata Mangeshkar Ji, it was one such piece that was never woven again.

The saree has a flowy georgette pattu base and an intricate double vairaoosi weave, merged with small Kattam checks, woven with fine zari.

Throughout the body, the saree features kili figures, combining it well with the beautiful green shade of the saree. After every kili motif, is a meenakari manga motif, neither too loud, nor too subtle. Just adequate to add more sheen and intricacy to the weave.

The borders and pallu flow with an intensely closely woven pattern, featuring tightly woven motifs, throughout.

Condition- excellent, hard to believe but sure to last next 4 decades
