Bought it just today. It's useful in treating 1) constipation as well as useful for 2)hepatic (liver related) encephalopathy. Most recommended brand without any side effects, it's also prescribed in pregnancy. Sugar- free. I haven't even opened the SEAL. Doctor prescribed medications after a minor surgery of mine, to avoid any discomfort post surgery, but of no use for me as I have never had constipation or bowel issues.
