Kundola (কুণ্ডল)

An authentic golden Muga, the rarest shade to find in Muga since the authenticity hugely includes non-dyed sarees, so the shade is the actual shade of silk here but not just that. The zari used here is the finest of pure copper wire, again, non-painted or covered with threads, absolutely pure. Swipe to the last slide to see.

What makes this saree a centre piece for any heritage museum is the huge Jhumka butas all over the saree. They look so ravishing, you’d wanna wear them so bad. As the saree moves, these jhumkas outshine the gold with their copper shade. Watching that movement is a bliss.

To add more depth and a pinch of colour, a brocade pallu follows through. Again, it has brocade woven with pure copper wire.
